2021 Residential Projects Roundup

It’s Christmas again, and what better way to end the year off than to celebrate all the hard work and achievements that we’ve earned in 2021! As we approach 2022, let’s take a look back at a few of our completed residential works this year!

1 | BEDOK SOUTH

Designer: Hui Ling | Project Manager: Marcus Chia, Keith Goh | Type: HDB 4-Room BTO

Our newlywed clients who enjoy entertaining guests over at their house requested for an open-concept kitchen with an island counter. When not required for guests staying over, they asked for the spare bedroom to be converted into a home office. With their love of deep tones, they set their eyes on Hui Ling’s proposed material palette of dark wood, deep forest green tiles and monochromatic tones.

2 | KEPPEL BAY

Designer: Keith Lam | Project Manager: Eleanor | Type: 4-Bedder Condo

Our outdoor-loving clients are fans of elegant juxtapositions of materials and colours, which helps to enliven this sea view home while keeping furniture pieces minimal. Keith’s proposal of full height storage elegantly lines walkways and conceal entrances to the private quarters, focusing on sliding and french doors to keep things grand and spacious.

3 | BRICKHOUSE

Designer: Mark Goh | Project Manager: Marcus Chia | Type: Semi-Detached House

With the modernisation of their house for the growing kids, our clients opted for a dynamic family home through the appreciation for the site. It assimilates in all aspects of the abode - from the way light enters the interiors to the casual juxtaposition of privacy and openness to the tones and textures used.

6 | CONTEMPORARY RYOKAN CONDOMINIUM

Designer: Farrah | Project Manager: Jane | Type: Condo

The house is a modernised version of the ryokan-style guesthouse, designed to accommodate the practical needs of its occupants without losing the charms of a traditional inn. Farrah utilised Japanese’s minimalist aesthetic concept, reproducing the peaceful and zen ambience to help guests relax and unwind once they step into the home.

5 | JAPANDI HOME BY THE SEA

Designer: Vivien | Project Manager: Eleanor | Type: HDB 5-Room BTO

This sea view unit came with a unique layout with a study space next to the entrance, which Vivien transformed into a grand foyer with an arch niche and space to sit around. Our clients’ request for Japandi elements with darker tones can be seen in the use of the Shoji door and light wood carpentry through the house, contrasted with touches of black frames and trims.

6 | SYMMETRY HOUSE

Designer: Kai Xuan | Project Manager: Farhana | Type: HDB 4-Room BTO

Upon entering the house, one would notice the striking symmetry through the social spaces, with a free-standing TV wall and 6-seater dining table, which made this spacious layout look even grander. Our clients wanted a neutral, beige-grey palette for their home, which Kai Xuan proposed along with natural stone textures, black trims and tinted glass, adding to the Modern Luxe vibes of the home.

7 | CLEMENTI CRESCENT

Designer: Nadia | Project Manager: Farhana | Type: HDB 4-Room BTO

This project had a slight change of plans after looking at the site, which ended up with a material palette of contrasting whites and dark wood tones, and a strategic design of curved features through the space. Nadia’s eventual design concept created a brighter and bigger home, with a natural flow through the social spaces of the home for our newlywed couple clients.

That’s not all to our 2021 - our commercial team has been busy in 2021, busting out non-residential projects within the retail, workspace, food and beverage and lifestyle industries. We also have our in-house build team, cheekily named the Defects and Rectification (DR) team, to make your renovation and warranty periods even smoother!

Keep your eyes peeled for 2022, where we’ll be showcasing even more works from different typologies, reaching for greater heights in our designs and processes, and more initiatives to be revealed. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, for walking through the year with us!
