BuildBuilt: The Perfect Partnership with a Factory
We are excited to share the news of our recent acquisition of a carpentry factory. After more than 8 years of forging a symbiotic work relationship with our carpentry partners in the north of Singapore, we have decided to merge. Now, more so than ever before, BuildBuilt believes we will provide better support for our clients. Once playing the role of BuildBuilt’s technical director, Marcus, is now overseeing the factory as managing director. He ensures that every piece of furniture produced meets our high standards and quality expectations.
A Partnership in the Making
As an interior design company, we are always looking for partners who share our values. A partner that understands our commitment to deliver exceptional service and projects is hard to find. We chose to galvanize with this particular workshop as they aligned in BuildBuilt values and vision.
In addition, the factory has a highly skilled team of carpenters and supervisors who can bring innovative and creative designs to life (this is super precious to us at BuildBuilt!). The synergy between designers, project managers, and carpenters allows us to explore mountains of possibilities. We’re excited!
Quality Control
We aim to build with the highest quality materials, crafted with care. With our newly minted factory, we can now control every aspect of the production process. With an end-to-end process under our microscope, BuildBuilt can now work towards delivering spaces that are built to last.
Innovative and Creative Designs
The biggest advantage of this partnership is our ability to break down the barriers between design and building. BuildBuilt desires to design and manufacture pieces that are both pleasing to the eye, and functional. Through years of crunching projects, we have honed a process that allows for creative collaboration with our clients. On top of that, we have also had expert technical feedback from our carpenters to fine-tune unique designs. Our design team works closely with the carpentry team to ensure that every detail is perfect.
Scheduling and Service
As an interior design company, we understand the importance of timely delivery and efficient service. We can now control the production schedule better, ensuring that every piece from the factory is delivered on time. We also provide more access to maintenance and servicing during the warranty period to ensure longevity.
And last but not least - that ‘green’ initiative
An in-house carpentry factory helps BuildBuilt to push the needle closer toward a more sustainable build. A long-term goal of BuildBuilt is to commit to sustainable design practices. With the help of our carpentry factory, it will allow us to create options for clients to control materials and production methods to deliver a healthier and environmentally friendly end product.
