“Our renovating experience with BuildBuilt has been a pleasant one and we are very happy to have had Farrah and Nick help us with renovating our home. It was our first time renovating so everything was new to us and we were afraid that we would end up encountering issues of IDs being unprofessional, lack of communication, delayed timelines and hidden costs. Thankfully, our experience was none of that and instead, a pretty smooth sailing one. From the start, they were friendly and approachable and willing to take the time and effort to explain things we weren't sure about and at the same time, hear our thoughts of what we wanted for our place. They also shared suggestions but were not pushy at all and respected our decisions even if we made last minute changes. We were glad that we went with an ID firm instead of hiring a contractor, as Farrah and Nick's design expertise and reno experiences were very useful in helping us finalise the design of our home to be what we envisioned it to be and yet functional and suitable for our family. From beginning to end, they have been understanding of our time constraints and also did not rush us when we were too busy or needed more time to revert to them. It was also easy communicating with them. What we appreciate most is that they have been responsible and reliable, and have helped us fix defects in our home even after the completion of our house reno, unlike the horror stories of IDs avoiding messages, making excuses or blank promises after handover.
