What do you do to relax?

I like to get lost in anything related to the arts be it music, drawing or even poetry. Running and playing sports with family and friends help me to keep balanced.

What’s top on your Bucket’s List?

Camping under the Northern Lights in Iceland

What does work mean to you?

A big part of your life goes into “work”. Therefore, work for me is the equivalent of what I am willing to place my time, emotional, mental and physical efforts into. Besides work being a means to give back to my family, I desire work to be an enjoyable process. One that I’ll truly appreciate despite the stress and challenges that comes with it. Ultimately, I would want my work to be beneficial not only for me but the people around me.

Why do you do what you do?

One of my greatest fears is regret. At the end of it all, I would not want to regret not doing something. Not trying something new just because of fear, not doing more just because I'm unsure and not showing someone how much I care for them before it's too late. My goal is to be able to say, “I've given this one life all that I could give, the best I could”. I can personally say, now, that I fear doing nothing or too little more than I fear doing too much.

Where is your next travel destination?

I hope to take my family to Santorini, Greece. It has one of the best sea views and the sunset looks majestic. They also offer Caldera Tours whereby visitors will be able to witness beauty after a disaster as they tour around the volcano.

If you have unlimited resources, which world problem would you wrestle with?

If I had the privilege of unlimited resources, I would want to address world homelessness. A home is a crucial part for growth and stability. It is also where values, beliefs and communities are formed but before we can even worry about a home, everyone must first have a roof to live under. Having proper shelter will also eliminate numerous exposure to diseases and danger. Once a shelter is secured I think there will be more space to address other matters with safety secured.

What's a good film/series/book/podcast to recommend?

As a film junkie and book lover that is one impossible question. However, the “Letterboxd” app is a great source for film reviews and recommendations. I normally get book recommendations through friends or the internet depending on what I feel like reading. I’ve recently received a book titled “Wabi Sabi: The Wisdom in Imperfection” by Nobuo Suzuki.

If you could only eat this for the rest of your life- what would it be?

I would gladly devour watermelons for the rest of my life.

Why is good design important to you ?

Good design has the power to stimulate and spark positive emotions, actions and/or comfort a person. Therefore, it is important as we are able to make people’s lives better even without being around them physically or being directly involved.

Describe the best experience that comes to mind

Simply being complete and together as a family.
