What is design to you?
Design, in my opinion, is a happy dance between form and function in which each tiny element works together to create and tell a story. As an interior designer, I view design as an opportunity to connect with people through spaces.
It all comes down to understanding how one would live, work and play in their spaces to then creating meaningful solutions that makes their lives better while reflecting their unique personality. To design is to create something vibrant, functional, and soulful, where purpose and imagination meet.
Who inspires you in design?
People. My love for design stems from general curiousity. I’m fascinated by how individuals interact with their spaces and how those spaces can reflect their personalities, needs, and dreams. Every client, every story, and every unique perspective fuels my creativity and drives me to create spaces that are not only functional and beautiful but also deeply personal. It’s this desire to learn more, to listen, and to translate people’s lives into meaningful designs that keeps me passionate about what I do. For me, design is all about human connection, and that’s what truly inspires me every day.
What would be a dream project to work on?
A dream project for me would undoubtedly be designing my own home. As an interior designer, my work revolves around connecting with people and translating their stories into spaces that reflect who they are. But designing my own home would be a deeply personal journey, a chance to turn the lens inward and create a space that truly resonates with my own identity. In many ways, it would be the ultimate act of self-expression and connection, not just to my craft, but to who I am at my core.
