Beverly and Tim’s 4-room BTO flat, spanning 1001 square feet, has been their cozy haven for nearly a year. From the beginning, their vision was clear, they wanted a bright, refreshing home that reflected their personalities while being practical for their current and future needs.
Pastel yellow, one of Beverly’s favorite colors, plays a key role in the home’s cheerful vibe. While they initially considered a Memphis-themed design, they opted for a simpler approach to ensure the space would feel timeless. The result? A bright and inviting home with a playful touch of color.
The Living Room
The living room is a cozy, inviting space that ties the home’s design together. With natural light streaming in, the couple has created a space that feels open and refreshing—perfect for relaxing or catching up on their favorite shows.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is where form meets function. The standout feature is the island counter, with its soft, curved design that complements the cheerful tones of the home. It’s a versatile spot, used for unloading groceries, prepping meals, and even sorting bills. One of the shelves in the island holds a mix of books and souvenirs, like house figurines from a memorable trip to Amsterdam.
One of the quirkiest parts of the home is Gale’s dedicated space under the pill counter, where his food bowl is kept. While he usually naps on the sofa, he’s also claimed a corner of the spare room that currently holds larger items like the laundry basket.
The Bedroom
The master bedroom is Beverly and Tim’s favorite space, a quiet retreat perfect for resting after a long day. To create enough storage, they cleverly expanded the room by hacking into a spare bedroom to make space for a second wardrobe. The extra room not only holds clothes but also doubles as a cozy nook for their cat, Gale, who loves lounging there.
