For Carson and Wilson, home is where he can spend quality time with their family. Their one-bedroom, one-study apartment at Riverfront Residences is a sanctuary where they cook, relax, and enjoy life together. Though it can be messy at times, it is a space filled with warmth and personality.
The Dining and Kitchen Area
Upon entering their home, guests are greeted by a stylishly redesigned kitchen. This vertically oriented space features a compact yet functional kitchenette complete with a peninsula, which the couple added to enhance usability. The peninsula serves dual purposes, offering both additional counter space and clever storage solutions for their collection of shoes and beverages.
When they first received the keys, the apartment came unfurnished, but the kitchen was ready for use. As an avid cook, Carson greatly appreciates the added workspace the peninsula provides, which has become a central spot for both cooking and conversation.
The Living Room
Moving into the living room, Wilson’s love for green took center stage. With guidance from their designer, Shaun Lucas, the space was infused with calming shades of green, accented by darker wood tones for a harmonious, grounded atmosphere. The living room is thoughtfully designed with ample storage to showcase their beloved miniature collections, seamlessly integrated into the room’s aesthetic.
One standout feature is the concealed full-height door that leads to their master bedroom, maintaining a clean and cohesive look throughout the space.
The Bedroom and Study Room
The master bedroom exudes calm with limewash-painted walls complemented by dark, earthy tones. Integrated side tables within the custom headboard provide discreet storage, while every detail contributes to a peaceful, clutter-free environment.
Connected to the master bedroom is a cozy study space. Designed with versatility in mind, it features a floating table that allows the room to easily convert into a walk-in wardrobe. This adaptability reflects the couple’s thoughtful planning and vision for their home.
Carson and Wilson’s renovation journey was a personal one, entrusted to Shaun Lucas, a friend from their younger days. The project management, led by Xiwen, ensured a seamless process with regular updates. The couple’s trust in their team translated into a home that perfectly reflects their lifestyle and values.
Through careful design choices and personal touches, Carson and Wilson have created a home that is as functional as it is inviting.
