ROLE OVERVIEW
BuildBuilt’s commercial project managers (PMs) are the heart and conduit of the project.
They need to be strong and confident leaders.
They will pivot between multiple internal and external parties to realise the project’s end result - a space built through relationships, good design and thorough planning.
They will ensure construction sequences are carried out in a safe and orderly fashion within built constraints of budget, timeline, authorities and design brief.
PMs are team players and leaders at the same time. Down to earth, they are armed with the resourcefulness and technical ability to bring ideas to life.
BB’s PMs must be creative problem solvers; they are always thinking out of the box, and having the forward vision and initiative to resolve issues with clients, or on-site.
BB’s PMs have excellent EQ and communication skills. They will need to build good rapport with fellow designers, builders, and customers, and instil confidence in the team.
There will be an expectation, but not emphasis, to assist to generate leads and to invest in Build Built through side projects and assignments given by the company.
OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to motivate people and processes within stages of a project: initiation, planning, control and monitoring, closing.
Able to communicate and coordinate works clearly with the design team, builders, authorities and clients during stages of project: schematic stage, construction design stage, construction stage, completion stage.
Able to plan and reduce risks during planning stages (safety, site build-ability).
Able to consult with clients and designers during the enquiry, programming and preliminary stages.
Able to own all administrative processes within a project:
contract administration
produce a bill of quotation from approved designs,
handle other budgetary matters pertaining to the project,
keeping the project’s profitable at all times,
managing progressive payments from customers, and outgoing payments towards vendors.
Able to understand and sketch design/construction ideas/
solutions when required.
Able to contribute towards BB’s endeavour for better project management habits and processes.

REMUNERATION
Fixed monthly salary (with yearly increment* and CPF contributions)
Fee and Profit sharing per project (after 3 months probation)
Insurance Cover (basic hospitalisation)
Flexible hours (Tuesday in-studio meetings)
